Changing Room Gallery

The Changing Room Gallery is Waltham Forest's singular art gallery. It is a venue for contemporary visual arts and crafts, and Waltham Forest encourages local artists to use the Gallery to showcase their unique range of artwork.

 

The Gallery is set in the leafy surroundings of the popular Aveling Park, to the rear of Lloyd Park and behind the William Morris Gallery on Forest Road. It is home to seven artists working in a diversity of media including sculpture, fine art and digital media. They hold regular open studio events and a programme of seminars and workshops.

 

Cafe Horizon offers a variety of refreshments at reasonable prices (open from 9.30-4pm April to September, and 9.30-3pm rest of the year).

Opening times vary according to each exhibition, although Café Horizon will allow visitors access through the café between 10am and 12noon (April-September) if the Gallery has not already been opened by the artist in residence.
