When North London’s creative businesses were mapped, a database of nearly 3000 names and addresses was created. Their postcodes were used to fix their locations on a map of North London to see if different sub-sectors clustered in any particular way.

What we found was a fairly uniform spread of sub-sector businesses centred on Haringey, but taking in the south east corner of Barnet, the south of Enfield and the centre of Waltham Forest. Creative businesses were also scattered across the rest of the boroughs, but more concentrated along main roads and in Town Centres and some industrial estates.
