The E17 Art Trail, 1-9 September 2007

The E17 Art Trail was established in 2004 by two Walthamstow artists. It has grown into an annual event with up to 100 artists in Waltham Forest taking part. Each artist, group of artists or venue in the E17 postcode organises events in their homes, gardens, streets, shops, cafes, libraries, galleries and museums and then submits the details to the organisers who produce a printed trail map and detailed website.

A huge diversity of contemporary practice is reflected, including installation, performance, film and video, painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, architecture and poetry.

The E17 Art Trail aims to create more opportunities for visual arts in the area, supporting a local network of artists and establishing new relationships between artists, audiences and business. To be part of the E17 Art Trail in 2007, register online by July 8th.
