Barnet Folk Club was formed in 1990 for local musicians and singers, and especially an audience who is interested in traditional and contemporary folk music. It is organised by J.J. Dunne, a performer from Camden Town whose Irish roots have influenced his style of music – “ Billy Bragg meets Christy Moore”. JJ starts off the monthly proceedings on a Friday evening at the artsdepot with a couple of songs.
